2026 marks 25 years of Redbrick.
A quarter of a century is a significant milestone for any business. For us, it is an opportunity to look back at how much the legal sector has changed, how technology has evolved and how Redbrick has evolved alongside it.
It is also an opportunity to look ahead. Because while our experience spans 25 years, we are continuing to evolve — building on our strong foundations in conveyancing and developing Redbrick as a connected platform for the whole legal practice.
“Reaching 25 years is a fantastic milestone for Redbrick, but what matters most is what we’ve learned along the way. We’ve spent 25 years listening to legal professionals, understanding the challenges they face and developing technology around the way they actually work.
Our roots are firmly in conveyancing, but the opportunity ahead is much broader. We’re continuing to develop Redbrick as a connected platform for the whole legal practice, giving firms the flexibility to bring more of their work together and work in a way that suits them. The legal sector will continue to change, and so will we.”
Martin MacDuff, Founder and Managing Director of Redbrick Solutions
It starts with listening
For 25 years, we have spent time listening to the people who use our software.
What is slowing them down?
What is taking up too much of their time?
Where are they having to duplicate work?
What could simply work better?
Those conversations have always shaped what we build.
The legal sector has changed considerably since Redbrick was founded in 2001. Firms have become more digital, client expectations have changed, regulation has evolved and new technology has transformed what is possible.
Through all of those changes, our focus has remained the same: understanding how legal professionals actually work and finding practical ways to make their working day easier.
Building on 25 years of experience
Conveyancing has been at the heart of Redbrick for 25 years, giving us a deep understanding of how legal professionals work, the challenges they face and what they need from their technology.
But legal practices are not defined by one area of work. Many firms operate across multiple departments, with teams handling different types of matters while relying on the same people, processes and technology.
That is why we are continuing to develop Redbrick across the wider practice.
Our experience in Conveyancing provides a strong foundation, while our vision is broader. We are extending that expertise across areas including Family, Employment, Commercial and Wills & LPAs, giving firms the flexibility to bring more of their practice onto one connected platform.
It is about making technology work more cohesively across the firm, rather than creating separate systems and processes for different areas of work.
One platform. Less complexity.
As firms grow and their needs change, technology can easily become fragmented. Different systems for different teams can mean duplicated information, disconnected workflows and more for people to manage.
Our focus is on bringing more of those processes together.
Redbrick connects case management with tools and integrations, including Legal AI, Outlook, electronic signatures, secure client portal, automated client updates, Source of Funds, Biometric AML, Legal Forms, and digital HM Land Registry processes.
The aim is simple: less administration, greater control and a more connected way of working across the firm.
By bringing more of the technology firms rely on together, we can help teams spend less time managing systems and more time getting work done.
Technology shaped by people
After 25 years, we know that technology is only useful if it works for the people using it.
That is why our approach has always been grounded in listening and understanding the realities of legal work.
Our team combines technical knowledge with a deep understanding of the legal sector, and we continue to invest in both our people and our technology.
That commitment was recognised in 2026 when Redbrick won Best Place to Work – Legal Suppliers at the British Conveyancing Awards, as well as Gold Employer of the Year at the SME Business Awards.
These recognitions reflect something that has always mattered to us: the experience our customers have with Redbrick is shaped by our people every day.
25 years of evolving with the legal sector
Reaching 25 years is a milestone, but it is also a reminder that standing still is not an option.
The legal sector will continue to change. New technology will create new opportunities. Client expectations will continue to develop, and firms will need systems that can adapt alongside them.
Our role is to keep listening and keep evolving.
That means continuing to develop Redbrick as a flexible, connected platform for the whole legal practice — bringing together the technology, tools and services legal professionals need, while supporting the different ways firms work.
Our focus is on making connected technology feel simple and practical: reducing unnecessary administration, improving visibility across matters and giving firms greater control over how they work.
25 years of listening. 25 years of learning. 25 years of making legal work better.
